We are pleased to have advised Donelec Group Limited in its successful multi-million-pound sale of Don Electronics Limited and Synatel Instrumentation Limited to Braime Group PLC.

This transaction brings together two highly respected business groups with a long‑established relationship. It also strategically positions the combined entity for sector growth and supports continued innovation within the fast-growing electronics sector. This resulting business will have an unrivalled expertise in the specialist design and manufacture of electrical and industrial control systems and sensing devices. The combined turnover of the new entity will be in the tens of millions of pounds and will enhance Braime Group PLC’s market proposition.

Haddletons’ Corporate team, led by Head of Corporate, Jeremy Espley and supported by Trainee Solicitor, Wilf Bowlas advised Donelec throughout the transaction. This included structuring, drafting and negotiation to completion, working collaboratively with advisors on all sides to achieve a smooth outcome.

Jeremy Espley commented:

“We are delighted to have supported Donelec Group Limited on this important transaction. This sale enables our client to reap the rewards of three generations of hard work on the part of the Wheat family; and creates exciting opportunities for future growth and innovation. It has been a pleasure to work with all parties to deliver a successful outcome.”
